Procedure: Flap elevation with osseous resection to re-establish the biological width and expose sound tooth structure.
Materials: Not applicable — resective procedure
Healing & review: Provisional restoration placed at surgery; definitive crown prepared after 8 to 12 weeks of tissue stabilisation.
Outcome: Adequate ferrule established for a predictable definitive restoration, with healthy and stable gingival margins.
